Naoshi Shinozaki
Naoshi Shinozaki was born the second son to a private practice
physician in Nikko, Japan in 1956. After completing elementary
and junior high school in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, he graduated
from Dokkyo High School. At age 18, he started his own company
in the apparel industry, then later entered the Science Division
at Lees College in Kentucky, USA at age 22. He majored in Developmental
Biology and did extensive fieldwork in ecology. In 1984, he entered
the College of Arts and Sciences at University of Kentucky. There,
he focused his graduate studies on both Biology and Nuclear Physics.

After achieving an M.S. degree, he returned to Japan and became
Chief Investigator at the Japan Amphibian Laboratory, which is
operated by his father.

Hao-Yung Yang, M.D.
Dr. Yang was born in Kobe, Japan in 1963 as a third generation
overseas Chinese. He holds both Japanese citizenship and permanent
residency privileges in Singapore. After spending his primary
school days at a Chinese school in Kobe, he attended junior high
and high school in Singapore. After returning to Japan, he entered
the Keio University School of Medicine.
Upon graduating, he began working in the Department of Ophthalmology
at Keio University where his specialties include corrective surgery
for myopia, corneal transplants, and dry eye.
